Answer a copyright claim
If something of yours was removed from myJRNY over a copyright claim you
believe was a mistake, you can answer it here.
17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) — we forward complete counter-notices promptly, and target 72 hours.
Read this before you file. A counter-notice is a legal
document. We are required to send a copy —
including your name, postal
address and telephone number — to the person who made the original
claim. If they file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, your
content stays down; if they do not, we restore it. Knowingly
misrepresenting that material was removed by mistake carries liability under
17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
If you are not sure, talk to a lawyer first.
